Welcome to the official website of the Springfield Alumnae Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. It is my honor and privilege to serve as the president of the Chapter for the 2023 - 2025 program years. We are a sisterhood of predominantly Black, college-educated women, dedicated to be supreme in service to all mankind. Alpha Kappa Alpha was founded on January 15th, 1908 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. and the Springfield Alumnae chapter Xi Xi Omega was chartered in Springfield, Massachusetts on July 14th, 1982. Today, our chapter members continue the work of our Alpha Kappa Alpha founders as we fulfill our commitment to service that began in 1908 internationally and 1982 locally.
